TimberlakeSmith honors late partner by sponsoring P. Donald Moses Memorial Education Fund

TimberlakeSmith is a proud founding sponsor of the P. Donald Moses Memorial Education Fund. The Fund was established in the summer of 2017 to honor our late partner, P. Donald Moses, and to support the Staunton Music Festival’s audience education activities generally, with priority given to the Moses Memorial Series, the annual lecture presented in conjunction with the Festival Finale Concert.

The 2017 Staunton Music Festival finale lecture, delivered by Richard Will, professor of music history at the University of Virginia, focused on Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, its innovations and its impacts. Listening to the entirety of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony was an annual New Year’s Day tradition of Donnie’s. TimberlakeSmith is pleased to support and participate in this fitting memorial to our colleague and friend.

For more information about the Staunton Music Festival, visit http://stauntonmusicfestival.org/.  Please consider honoring Donnie’s memory through donations to the Fund, which is held by the Community Foundation of the Central Blue Ridge (http://cfcbr.org/).
