About Tate
Tate is an expert in Insurance Defense, Medical Malpractice, General Civil Litigation, and Personal Injury law. Since 2001, Tate has had an active practice in all of these areas throughout the Shenandoah Valley.
Tate earned a B.A. from the College of William and Mary in 1997, moving on to complete his J.D. degree at William and Mary Law School in 2001. Tate is a past President of the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys.
Tate and his wife, Shannon, live in Staunton with their two sons, Stuart and Duncan. Tate is a proud alum of the College of William and Mary and an ardent fan of their sports teams. He is active in the Staunton Mennonite Church. In the past he has served on the boards of the Valley Mission and the Daily Living Center.
