Thomas honored as Go To Lawyer for medical malpractice

TimberlakeSmith is proud to announce Steuart Thomas has been recognized by Virginia Lawyer's Weekly as a "Go To Lawyer" for medical malpractice. "Go To Lawyers" are nominated by colleagues in the field and selected by a panel from Virginia Lawyers Weekly for their experience, expertise, skill, and success.  

Steuart's nomination recognizes his 36 year legal career, nearly unparalleled record defending hundreds of medical malpractice cases, and trial of over 60 cases to verdict. Steuart leads the medical malpractice and health care law teams at TimberlakeSmith. In addition, he is the past president of the Virginia Bar Association and teaches at Washington and Lee School of Law. In addition to being a member of the 2022 class of Go To Lawyers, Steuart is a fellow in the Amercian College of Trial Lawyers and was honored by colleagues in the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association with a Civility and Professionalism Award in 2017.
